David Larson

David Larson completed his formal training at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Hartford, Connecticut, and later held positions as dance instructor, trainer, coach, and choreographer with the F.A.D.S. of New England. He has taught dance at a variety of schools in New England, including The University of Connecticut, Dartmouth College, Middlebury College, Norwich University, St. Michael's College, Champlain College, and (currently) The University of Vermont. In Pro-Am and Professional levels David has competed in Latin, Ballroom, and Theater Arts categories. He was the United States Latin Dance Champion at the F.A.D.S., and is an active member of the National Dance Council of America. David continues to teach American style social dance, as he has done for over twenty-five years.

David Larson teaches many styles of dancing. David Larson teaches Cuban Salsa, Merengue, Swing, and many Ballroom dances. He conducts dance classes, private lessons and lessons for those getting married.

David Larson has been teaching Salsa lessons locally since the year 2000 when the demand for learning Salsa increased in Vermont. David Larson also teaches the Cuban Rueda and his group Rueda Group provides demonstrations for events.
