MADERA: The three piece group "Madera"
plays a unique blend of flamenco from Spain and bassa-nova jazz arrangement
from Antonio Carlos Jobim and Luis Bonfi tunes. Flamenco-nova is the signature
sound of this trio. James O’Halloran (guitar), Justin Rose (bass) and
Bruce Mckenzie (cajon and percussion).
Madera’s musical fusion of fiery Spain and Latin passion has been entertaining audiences.
The only group in Vermont performing this music is Madera. Anyone who has heard Madera agrees - the fiery and passionate music they create makes any event special.
