How do I start the process?

The first thing we would suggest is to look through our list of Bands and Entertainers. Listen to the music samples, read the bio's and view the music list.

How do I book a Band?

Contact HP Entertainment by phone or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it  and we will listen to your request or best method is to fill out the booking request. We will listen to your request. Based on your needs we will discuss Bands that are on our roster. Every Band that is on our Roster has been used by HP Entertainment on prior occasions.

How can I hear the music they play?

We have sample music of our Entertainers on our website. We also have the recorded music of all our Bands on our Roster. Review the bands and we can send you additional information.

How do I know if a band is available?

Once we discuss your needs, we narrow the band/bands that might fit your requirements. We can send you information on these bands and HP Entertainment will contact the Band/Bands to check their availability. The Band will hold the date for approximately two weeks.

How do I book the band?

After you decide on a Band, HP Entertainment will send you a contract. This guarantees the date and the Band of your choice.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. The Bands will not hold a date without a deposit and a contract. A deposit of 30% to 50% is requested. Percentage is based on Band and Event.

What payment methods can I use?

Deposit can be paid by personal check. On the date of event, the Band must be paid in cash, certified check or money order. The Band must be paid prior to performing. A Band can refuse performance if no money is paid prior to performing or a personal check is used.

Can I view the Band or DJ?

It is not uncommon for a Bride and Groom to hire a Band unseen. Professional Wedding Bands have spent much of their time developing materials to provide you with enough information to make a decision. The Bands represented by HP are carefully chosen for quality of Musicians, Music Selections, Reliability, Professionalism, and Presentations.

Saying all that, it can be possible to view a Band. Keep in mind that the more popular weddings Bands are often booked and club dates are rare. If you wish to book a band that can be viewed, we can help make the proper recommendations.

What happens when the band is not playing?

Some bands carry a cd player and can let the music play during their intermission. A Professional DJ/MC is also available to accompany the Band. This service is available upon request and at a reasonable price.
