Edwin Pabon has been a mainstay in Latin music in the Boston and New England areas for many years. Born to a family of Puerto Rican musicians, he began his musical career in the mid-seventies as a percussionist with El Sexteto Pabon, a family band. El Sexteto Pabon was one of the first bands in Boston to feature Latin Music. In many ways, Edwin and his brothers Roberto Pabon, Isreal Pabon and sister Janet Pabon where the pioneers of promoting Latin music in the New England area.

Hector Cuevas y Su Orquesta is Boston's biggest and most elegant Latin Band, delighting lovers of Latin Music, listeners and dancer's alike. Led by music director and percussionist, Hector Cuevas, the 12 - 14 piece Boston Latin Band plays salsas, merengues, danzons and boleros.

Lydia Lebron is a Latin singer, currently based in Connecticut, who originates from Puerto Rico. She began her singing career in 1978 and presented her first Merengue CD at this time.

When Grupo Sabor is not performing, their smaller band spices up the music scene. This six-piece ensemble plays Latin Jazz for the smaller venues. However, don’t try to stop them from spicing it up. As the folks get comfortable, MerenJazz throws in some Merengue, boleros and a little Salsa.
