Kilombo Mambo was formed in 1997 by Argentine frontman/conguero Marcello Ozain, who dreamed of bringing salsa roots folklore to the masses while making them dance. Together with trombonist Mondongo, bassist Carlos del Pino, pianist Tony Perez, trumpet player Yasek Manzano and a vast cast of gifted world touring musicians, KILOMBO began giving audiences generous helpings of salsa, merengue, cumbia, tejano, tex-mix mambo and a myriad of other styles both common and original.
Kilombo has performed live at the Tweeter center as supportive act for the world famous latin musician Carlos SANTANA!
