The Orquesta Opus Tres is a Salsa band which its originality came from Bayamon, Puerto Rico in 1975. Know back then as Opus 75. Many of the most popular musicians know today got their start as members of Opus 75.

Lydia Lebron is a Latin singer, currently based in Connecticut, who originates from Puerto Rico. She began her singing career in 1978 and presented her first Merengue CD at this time.

La Timba Loca had its beginnings in the city of Boston where its leader, Gonzalo Grau, upon graduation from of Berklee College of Music had the urge to break the mold of mainstream Latin music and put together his own version of "timba," a Latin music style born in the Cuba of the 90s from the fusion of traditional "son" to funk and jazz.

When Grupo Sabor is not performing, their smaller band spices up the music scene. This six-piece ensemble plays Latin Jazz for the smaller venues. However, don’t try to stop them from spicing it up. As the folks get comfortable, MerenJazz throws in some Merengue, boleros and a little Salsa.
